Sandals Jamaica Series – Part 2: Dunn’s River 🏝️
I’m continuing my Sandals Resorts in Jamaica series, and this week we’re still in Ocho Rios — but focusing just on Sandals Dunn’s River. (Ochi will get its own feature later… otherwise we’d be here all day )

Sandals Dunn’s River has quite a history. Back in the 90’s, it wasn’t owned by Sandals — just leased. Later it became Jewel Dunn’s River. During COVID, it went up for sale, and Sandals swooped in. And as Sandals always does… they completely transformed and “sandalized” the property into something truly spectacular.

The beach is a stunner — powdery white sand, plenty of shaded loungers, and umbrellas to keep cool. The two main pools overlook the beach, giving that perfect “paradise postcard” feel.
💡 Adriana’s Pro Tip
If you’re staying in the Travertine building (to the right of the Greek restaurant), just know: that elevator is the slowest on the planet. Take the stairs if you can!
