Sign up for snorkeling on your very first full day, and book at least two outings. That way, if weather interferes with one, you still have another scheduled.
You can register directly at the Dive Shop on-site.
Sandals does provide you with all required snorkel gear and vests, but we personally like bringing our own masks. I also recommend bringing ear plugs if you don’t want water trapped in your ears — and of course, don’t forget the sunscreen.

They’ll capture candid moments of you enjoying your vacation — laughing, walking along the beach, relaxing by the pool. They simply ask for your room number after each photo, and the day before checkout, you can visit the photo shop on-site to view your images. Photos are typically around $35 each, and I truly recommend purchasing a few for your wedding album or to frame at home. These become lifelong keepsakes.
You can also schedule a complimentary professional photo session — sunset on the beach, in the gardens, wherever you’d like. The photographers guide you on how to pose naturally so you don’t feel awkward, and the results are stunning.
