Travelling the world and keeping you informed
Cruiseship in Greece

Why I think cruising is the best way to visit Europe, specially if it’s your first time.

When I was younger I have sailed the Caribbean many times. I was new to visiting the Carribean and cruising allowed me to taste the different islands (kind of like a buffet) Then I got older and knew which islands I really wanted to go to and the ones I didn’t really have an interest in bc I had been there on a cruise.  I think cruising is still the best way to visit different countries in Europe.

Beyond the Big Cities: The Real Soul of a Country

Something I often notice when clients tell me they want to experience a new country is this: Most people think visiting a country means going to the major cities. And while big cities certainly have their place, they rarely tell the whole story. The real soul of a country is often found in the smaller towns, the countryside, the regional traditions, the food, and the history that has been quietly preserved for generations.

1,000 Places To See Before You Die

This past weekend, I found myself flipping through this beautiful book again. Michael and I are heading to Ireland in May, and I’m in the final stages of designing our trip — mapping out the tours, the charming villages, transfers, the historic sites that have stood for centuries.

February is one of those months that people overlook… but honestly? It’s one of the BEST times of the year to book travel if you want the best pricing, best availability, and the best options. Here are the top 3 things you should be booking right now:

Travel Advisors inspecting Properties in Mexico

Why do I need a Travel Advisor if I can book it myself?

Years ago, a travel agent’s role was mostly transactional, simply booking flights or hotels. Then, airlines and suppliers made it easier for consumers to book on their own, and many thought travel agents would disappear altogether. Instead, the role evolved.

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2026

Since today is the very first day of a brand-new year, I thought this would be the perfect time to talk about goals. I’ve never been big on New Year’s resolutions. They tend to feel rushed, restrictive, and forgotten by February.

Merry Christmas From My Heart to Yours!

How special and a little ironic that this year’s Christmas Day lands on the exact day my weekly newsletter goes out. And even though it’s a holiday, there was no way I was skipping today. Showing up matters to me… and you matter to me.

Have you ever wanted to just escape the holidays?

It’s that time of year again… the calendar fills up fast, invitations start coming in from every direction, and suddenly you feel like you’re being pulled everywhere at once. If you say yes to everything, you’re exhausted. If you say no, you feel judged… or worse, like you’re letting people down. And even though everyone usually means well… man, the pressure can feel overwhelming.

Let’s be honest…every single year there are new all-inclusive resorts opening in the Caribbean, especially in Mexico. The all-inclusive industry is booming and it’s absolutely here to stay. And don’t get me wrong… I still sell a ton of them and I love them for the right type of trip.

Why small ships are big news

When most people think of cruising, they picture massive ships with thousands of passengers, long buffet lines, and waiting in crowds just to get off the ship.
